Anything that keeps a crafter from crafting is likely to make a crabby crafter.
A couple weeks ago after spending some time knitting a lot of very small stitches on very small needles, I noticed a strain in my upper arm and shoulder. I took some ibuprofen and went back to knitting and stitching, but it seemed to get a little worse everyday and spread a little farther down my arm, to where it was hard to even click the mouse or use my finger on the I-pad.

So I put myself on a craft diet- no knitting, my stitching is limited to only making stitches to hold things together- like putting a button on, or fixing a seam- no long embroidery sessions with that needle pinched between my thumb and index finger.

To keep my sanity, I've been doodling in this little purse size journal I made from some great paper I got from Tina.

In the scheme of things, not being able to knit or stitch for a few days doesn't even rate as a first world problem, but on a personal level, crafting is what keeps me away from the kettle corn.

Until I get back to what I really love, I'm glad to have my little book to Zentangle

and play with my Tim Holtz Distress markers.

I haven't done a blog give-away in long, long time. If you could find a place for this little sweetheart art quilt, I'm giving it away. Please leave a comment if you're interested.
