| It Was a Pretty Estate Sale... »
This post is just a collection of pictures I've shared on Instagram and/or Facebook. I know a lot of my family doesn't use Instagram or Facebook, so I thought I'd show the pictures again here.
Make and take collage project for Birdsong.
Cross stitch sampler sachet with beads.
"Sailor's Heart" I made from a crumbling crazy quilt. The silk piece with Admiral Dewey were give aways with cigars or tobacco.
Crocheted basket sewn to an old quilt piece. I added flowers from other bits of lace to make a ....."flower basket".
Wool patchwork with lace, embroidery, buttons and trims.
My haul from the Old Summit antique show- a couple of old coin purses, some crown pins and a bunch of trade cards.
More from the Old Summit Antique show. Love these tole roses, but they are getting hard to find.
Good old stuff from an auction.
Estate sale finds.
More estate sale finds. One of my favorite finds (that I kept for myself) is the Italian mosaic rosary next to the celluloid prayer book. I've never seen one like it.
I think that gets us caught up. It must be time for me to hit some more estate sales and auctions, and make a few new things from old things.
That sounds like something I can do....
