When I pack up after an antique show like the one I did on Saturday, I sort my stuff into different categories- next show- in this case Silver Bella; stuff to sell on Ebay and Etsy; stuff to take to my booth at the antique mall; and stuff I never want to see again.
I took a couple of big ole Rubbermaids over to the antique mall this morning, but my timing was a little off, and I finished while the receiving doors were closed for lunch--so I wandered around the antique mall with my camera and did some photo shopping. Photo shopping is like window shopping-but you get to bring home pictures.
Here are some of my favorite things. Old medicine bottles- look at the label 32% alcohol.
Great graphics on this cake tin.
REALLY cool brushes.
Mortar & pestle- but I never know which piece is the mortar and which is the pestle.
I don't know if these beaded flowers are old, but they are pretty.
Wallpaper covered hatboxes.
Love how the pulley is turned into art by mounting it on a stand. And see how one candlestick is on a pile of books, while the other is on the table- just a little change in height makes the whole display more interesting.
And if we were playing "one of these things is not like the other"- this booth would be the winner- it always tickles me because it's so pink and has a happy retro charm.
