I've been listing on eBay and Etsy all afternoon with the sounds of my dogs playing, wrestling and growling in the background. Since I had my camera out, I took some pictures of my pups because I know their "Grandmas" like to see them.
That's Buddy with the freckles.
And Maddie with the old white face. Maddie is one big bundle of loose dog hair. She never rides in my car, but it's still full of her hair. I was at an estate sale and I held up a sweater to see if it was long enough. When I pulled it away, I saw it was covered with dog hair- gross- until I realized I brought the dog hair with me. Transference, you know...
We bought this special comb called "The Furminator". Yes, that's really its name. It's incredible how much loose hair it will pick up- if dog hair was a fossil fuel, I'd be Jed Clampett.
So, are you still with me after my diatribe about dog hair? I worked on making an ephemera books like these.
It's still a work in progress- I want to add some fun details and surprises.
But it was a fun to way to put together loose pages from books that were too interesting (at least to a paper person) to throw away.
I have plans for some themed books- children, sewing, sports- but of course, I'll have to MAKE TIME.
